Rates starting at $20/hr

SAC Founders Annie & Brenda offer private one-on-one classes in a studio or home setting located in the Denver metro area.  We provide work surfaces, ironing tables, cutting area, large design wall, sewing table and comfortable seating.   Bring your sewing machine or use one of ours  (additional $5 per hour ).   Let us know what you're interested in learning so we can accommodate your learning needs. After scheduling a class with us we will email you a supply list. Class sessions are flexible, day, evenings and weekends.

We can teach you a variety of quilting techniques including: How to Read and Follow a Pattern, Fabric Selection, Half Square Triangles, Flying Geese Blocks, How to Square Blocks, Domestic Machine Quilting, Basic Binding, Bias Binding, Basic Borders, Mitered Borders, Machine Applique, Paper Piecing, Hand Quilting, Basic T-Shirt Quilt Preparation & more!

Quilt finishing, restoration & customization

Once you've finished a beautiful quilt top, what comes next? Let us help you complete your masterpiece and give it the finishing touch it deserves. Just send your quilt to our professional machine quilting service and we'll send it back to you, perfectly finished. We can even complete the binding! It's more than a time-saver, it's a lifesaver!

SAC also offers quilt repair and restoration services to preserve your family's memories.  Our goal is to preserve the integrity of the original fabrics, when possible; as each quilt is a masterpiece, representing the creativity, time and place of the creator. We want to restore the quilt to the overall look and feel of its original condition, to the maximum extent possible.

Custom quilts are made specifically with you in mind. Provide us with the color scheme, pattern/design and the size; and any other specific requirements and we’ll take it from there. Our ultimate goal is to create masterpiece that you’ll love and or love to gift to another. We' can also include a personalized label to mark the occasion of this customized quilt. This process takes some time to complete, but will be well worth it. Recommend planning 8 - 12 weeks for any customized quilt order.
