DESCRIPTION

Quilting for beginners is an introduction to the art of quilt making. This course will cover the following topics for completing a lap-sized quilt:

1. Tools & supplies/fabrics

2. Patterns & cutting

3. Piecing & Borders

4. Overview of top stitching and bindings

The course fee covers 5 (2-hour) in-class sessions; quilt patterns; list of supplies and practice supplies and tools. Students will supply their sewing machine; and selected fabric and supplies on 2nd session.

Dates: Beginning Aug 4th 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (class meets 5 sessions)

Additional sewing machines are available for in class use; add $20.00 to the course fee.
